Think Privacy at Luxembourg Art Week

Elektron is pleased to extend the exhibition Think Privacy to the Luxembourg Art Week.

Think Privacy a series of four multilingual posters and a mirror by artist and researcher Adam Harvey. Drawing on the visual language of a public information campaign in the street, Think Privacy raises one of the most pressing ethical and political questions of our time: what does it mean to live in a world where our movements, faces, and online activities and interactions are continuously recorded and processed?

Originally started in 2016, Think Privacy has only grown more resonant with our connected, algorithmically organised everyday lives: taking selfies, browsing the internet, unlocking phones and making payments using facial recognition, using a smart doorbell. The presentation at Luxembourg Art Week invites today’s audiences to examine the data trails generated by our most ordinary gestures in a compelling and visually striking way.
